Teamwork

I have always referred to my experiences within rowing when asked for an example of my approach to teamwork. Within such an intense team sport as rowing, success depends on equal levels of technical, physical and mental commitment from each and every one of the crew. A crew performing precisely together at their optimum creates a sensation of collective power, enabling each to exceed their potential as individuals. However if just one member shows less commitment or performs out of sync - the boat slows and the whole crew lose!

Cultural Flexibility

I have worked successfully with different cultures all around the world, from the UK and Western Europe through a US territory and of course with many Japanese colleagues. I speak good French and have a basic working knowledge of several other European languages.
